2010-11: Earned a wildcard bid to the NCAA Championships after placing fourth at the ACC Championships … Posted a 26-10 overall record … Went 2-1 in ACC dual matches … Won the Hokie Open and placed fourth at the Las Vegas Invitational … Had three major decisions and six technical falls … Picked up 53 team points in dual matches … Finished his career with over 100 wins, one of only five Tech wrestlers ever to do that … Named to the 2010-11 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2009-10: An All-American at 141 pounds after finishing eighth at the NCAA Championships … Placed second at the ACC Championships … A first-team all-state selection by VaSID … Lost his first match at NCAAs, but rattled off four straight wins in the consolations, including victories over the Nos. 8 and 2 seeds, to earn a spot on the podium … Won the Navy Classic … Finished seventh at the Las Vegas Invitational … Went 33-7 overall, 20-1 in dual meets … Had five major decisions, six technical falls and four pins … Fastest pin came at 32 seconds against Chase Skonieczny of Kent State in a dual meet … Scored 84 points for the team in dual meets … Named ACC Wrestler of the Week once … Biggest win of the season was a 7-3 decision over second-seeded Jamal Parks of Oklahoma State to earn All-America honors.

2008-09: Qualified for his first NCAA Tournament by placing second at the ACC Tournament … Went 3-2 at the Big Dance, advancing to the Round of 12 and was one win away from All-America status … Posted a 33-12 overall mark, including 15-4 in dual meets and 4-1 in the ACC … Had five major decisions, four technical falls and five pins … Scored 62 points for the team in dual meets … Placed second at the Navy Classic … Beat No. 4 Cody Cleveland, 8-6, in a dual meet at Chattanooga … Earned ACC Wrestler of the Week honors with that upset win … Took fourth at the Las Vegas Invitational … Placed fifth at the Southern Scuffle … Went 4-0 the weekend of Jan. 24 & 25 at Michigan and Central Michigan.

2007-08: The starter at 141 pounds for the Hokies as a true freshman … Went 14-17 in his first campaign … Picked up one major decision, one technical fall and two pins … Went 8-8 in dual matches and 3-2 in ACC competition … Biggest win came in the upset over Virginia when he pinned Kellon Balum with one second remaining in the match to help lift Tech to a 18-16 win.
