CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Despite standout performances from junior Klaudia Nazieblo, sophomore Ian Ho and senior Brandon Fiala on the second day of the Virginia Tech swimming and diving team’s dual meet with in-state foe Virginia, the ‘Hoos were able to take dual wins over the men and women H2Okies on Saturday afternoon.

The Cavalier women won by a final score of 225-123 over the women H2Okies (4-3, 1-3 ACC) while the Tech men (6-1, 3-1 ACC) narrowly dropped their first dual of the season, 199-154.

“The team competed well this weekend, especially today,” said head coach Ned Skinner. “I was proud of their adjustments after last night and we came back with much more energy and determination. The divers did a great job and we were hoping to capitalize on their success. Virginia did a good job fighting us off and we will need to reset to go after them at ACCs.”
