Career Honors

Career Highlights: In 2015, his opponents' batting average of .204 was the lowest ever in a single season at the school while playing in the ACC (min. 50 IP), while his .217 average in ACC-only games was also the lowest (min. 30 IP).

2016: Started nine times and appeared in 18 total games, the second-most on the team … Had a 6.21 ERA in a total of 66.2 innings (third), struck out 47 batters (third, and included a team-high 22 looking), walked 29, and posted a 1-8 record with one save (one of six Hokies to record a save in 2016) … Posted two quality starts and combined on one shutout out of the bullpen – at Boston College on April 29 also where he picked up the save … Tossed a career-high 8.0 innings against Notre Dame on March 26, while throwing at least 6.0 innings in four starts ... 2013 (at Crowder College): Compiled an overall 8-1 mark for the Roughriders in 17 games … Posted a 2.39 ERA in 83.0 innings with 111 strikeouts and two complete games, one of which was a shutout … Broke the school record for strikeouts in a season … Was named Region 16 Player of the Year (NJCAA-Division I) and was first team All-Region 16 pitcher … Struck out at least five batters in 11 games and six times threw at least six frames … His career highs at Crowder included an 8.0-inning outing on April 20 against Mineral College and a 13-strikeout performance in six innings at North Central Missouri on April 25.

High School: Named Frontier League MVP following his senior season ... Also earned first team CIF-SS Division 6 honors in 2011 ... Named first-team All-Frontier League in 2009 and 2010 ...
