BLACKSBURG - The 22nd-ranked Virginia Tech wrestling team will wrap up its regular season with a dual meet Sunday at American University. The Hokies and Eagles will battle at 2 p.m. inside Bender Arena.
Tech is now 8-5 on the season after splitting at the NWCA National Duals last Sunday in Ames, Iowa, while the Eagles are 7-7 after splitting at the National Duals in Ithaca, N.Y.. Both squads include three ranked wrestlers with a matchup at 141 pounds featuring No. 16 Matt Mariacher for American against No. 20 Zach Neibert of Tech.
Bender Arena is located right in the middle of American’s campus at 4400 Massachusetts Ave. NW in Washington, D.C. There is parking in the garage attached to the arena that is free on weekends. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids and can be purchased at the door (cash only).
