Latest pickup dates announced for complimentary Hokies' blanket

Gift is for those who participated in the Early Bird football season ticket promotion in February and the first 2,000 student season ticket holders

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced Monday the additional pickup dates for the complimentary Hokies blanket that football season ticket holders receive as part of their participation in the “Early Bird” promotion campaign held in February.

Those who ordered football season tickets by Feb. 16, but haven’t picked up their complimentary blanket may do so on the following dates at the following times and locations:

• April 25 – English Field at Union Park (4:30 p.m.)

• April 26 – Tech Softball Park (6 pm.)

• April 27 – Promotions Booth, Cassell Coliseum (by section 1 from 1-5 p.m.)

• April 28 – Promotions Booth, Cassell Coliseum (by section 1 from 1-5 p.m.)

• May 2 – Promotions Booth, Cassell Coliseum (by section 1 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.)

• May 9 – English Field at Union Park (4:30 p.m.)

• May 12-14 – English Field at Union Park (any time throughout the series vs. UNC)

Also, the first 2,000 student season ticket holders receive a complimentary blanket. Those who haven’t picked up their complimentary blanket may do so at these dates and locations as well.

Those who are unable to pick up the blanket at any of these dates are welcome to designate someone to pick up the blanket on their behalf – provided the designated person has the proper account holder’s information (name and account number).

Following these days, more opportunities will be made available and considerations will be given to those who do not live locally in Southwest Virginia.

The Virginia Tech football program opens the season Sept. 3 against West Virginia at FedExField in Landover, Maryland. Those interested in purchasing season tickets may do so by clicking here.
