
2017 Virginia Tech football student season tickets go on sale March 20
Students can reserve their seats for six home games, Student seats for WVU game at FedExField will also go on sale

BLACKSBURG – Student season tickets for Virginia Tech football games will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday. Student season tickets will remain priced at $93 again this season (price includes all fees). Students will need to purchase their tickets by the final day of classes on May 3 to guarantee their seats for an ACC Championship Game rematch against defending national champion Clemson, as well as five other home contests.
Virginia Tech’s allotment of student tickets for the 2017 season opener on Sept. 2 against West Virginia at FedExField will also go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday. Those seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a single ticket available for $72 (fees included) or two tickets for $139 (fees included) with a limit of two tickets per student. Students must pick up these tickets at the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office on August 29-31.
As a special bonus, the first 1,000 students to purchase their season tickets will receive a FREE commemorative stadium blanket. On Tuesday, April 18, Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente will again invite students to attend a portion of practice leading up to the annual Maroon-Orange Spring Game on April 22. Students eligible to receive their complimentary blanket will be able to pick up their blanket following practice on April 18. The 2017 schedule will feature three “Effect” games:
· White Effect – Military Appreciation/Hall of Fame Weekend – Old Dominion (Sept. 23)
· Maroon Effect – Clemson (Sept. 30)
· Homecoming/Orange Effect – North Carolina (Oct. 21)
