
Shegog, Reynolds Earn AP All-Bowl Honors
Pair of VT defenders recognized for play in Belk Bowl

NEW YORK – The Associated Press released its 2016 All-Bowl Team on Tuesday. That list of award winners included Virginia Tech LB Anthony Shegog, who registered six tackles, a sack, an interception and a fumble recovery to help the Hokies rally from a 24-0 halftime deficit to register a 35-24 victory over Arkansas in the Belk Bowl.
Safety Mook Reynolds earned honorable mention status for his play in the Belk Bowl victory. Reynolds produced five tackles, 3.0 TFLs, 2.0 sacks and a pass defensed as Virginia Tech won its third straight bowl contest.
