Beamer Embarks on Farewell Tour, Winningest Active FBS Coach Seeks to Extend VT Bowl Streak

• Frank Beamer announced his intention to retire at the conclusion of the 2015 season. VT is seeking a 23rd straight bowl berth.
• No two current ACC programs own more all-time victories than Virginia Tech (715) and Georgia Tech (714).
• Virginia Tech is coming off a 26-10 win at Boston College (10/31) and is seeking back-to-back ACC wins for the first time in 2015.
• GT halted a five-game losing skid with a 22-16 win vs. then-No. 9 FSU (10/14), but suffered a 27-21 loss at UVA (10/31).
