Battle at Bristol ticket timeline for Virginia Tech fans
Hokies, Vols to Square Off at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sept. 10, 2016

BLACKSBURG – Due to the high volume of Virginia Tech fans interested in attending the Battle at Bristol, the Virginia Tech Athletics Department is sharing this timeline for members of Hokie Nation wishing to be part of college football history. Based on the unique nature of this event, specific seat locations for all purchases will be confirmed in August 2016.

Oct. 1, 2015 – Hokie Club Priority Order Deadline

Virginia Tech season-ticket holders and Hokie Club members have until Oct. 1 to reserve priority seating and receive three additional priority points per ticket toward their point priority ranking for 2016 Hokie Club benefits. The allocation of tickets will be based on Hokie Club point priority ranking as of Dec. 31, 2015. Continue to support Virginia Tech’s student-athletes by purchasing tickets directly through Virginia Tech Athletics.

Priority tickets can be reserved online here, or by calling the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-VA TECH4 or 540-231-6731.

Priority ticket orders will be ranked in early 2016, with invoices to follow. Due to contractual restraints, final locations will not be available until August, 2016. A non-refundable deposit per ticket is required.

Oct. 2, 2015 – Virginia Tech Single-Price Public Sale

Following the conclusion of the Hokie Club priority order deadline, Virginia Tech will offer the general public a single-price ticketing option with the best available seats being offered on a first-come, first-served basis with full payment due at time of purchase.

Beginning March 2016 – Virginia Tech Student Season Tickets, Battle at Bristol Tickets Available

Beginning in March 2016, current Virginia Tech students will have an opportunity to purchase 2016 football season tickets, as well as student Battle at Bristol tickets. Battle at Bristol tickets are not included in the Virginia Tech season-ticket package for games played at Lane Stadium.

Virginia Tech will meet Tennessee on Sept. 10 of next year in the first ever football game at Bristol Motor Speedway. The two teams last met in the regular season in 1937.
