Hokies in the NFL: Week 2
Royal, Hosley, Taylor put in solid perfromances

BLACKSBURG, Va. - A few former Hokies put in strong NFL performances led by Jayron Hosley who recorded eight tackles for the New York Giants as well as Tyrod Taylor who completed 23-of-30 passing for the Bills. Eddie Royal also had a strong week as he made seven catches for 41 yards for the Chicago Bears. Here's the full rundown from this past weekend:

Jayron Hosley (Giants): Played and recorded a season-high eight tackles

New England Patriots 40

Buffalo Bills 32

Tyrod Taylor (Bills): Started and went 23-for-30 for 242 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. Ran five times for 43 yards and a score

Brandon Flowers (Chargers): Started and made two tackles

Arizona Cardinals 48

Chicago Bears 23

Eddie Royal (Bears): Started and had 7 catches for 41 yards on eight targets.

Will Montgomery (Bears): Started at center.

Kyle Fuller (Bears): Started and made one tackle.

St. Louis Rams 10

Washington Redskins 24

DeAngelo Hall (Redskins): Started and made four tackles

Kyshoen Jarrett (Redskins): Played and recorded two tackles.

Michael Vick (Steelers): Played, had three kneeldowns to seal the victory.
