BLACKSBURG – Back by popular demand, the Virginia Tech football team will conduct its second annual Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 15. The free event inside Lane Stadium will once again provide an opportunity for selected players and coaches to personally thank Hokie Nation and Tech fans for their unwavering support.
Fans will enjoy a unique opportunity to interact with members of the team throughout the event. Stadium gates will open at 11:30 a.m. for the general public, with an early entry beginning at 11:15 a.m. for Hokie Kids’ Club members.
In addition to autographs from head coach Frank Beamer, selected assistant coaches and players, fans can also get their photo taken with the HokieBird, as well as Tech cheerleaders and HighTechs.
Posters and schedule cards will be provided at no charge and the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about season tickets, as well as take orders.
Further details, including entrance locations, parking and the in-stadium schedule, will be available, as the event gets closer.
