BLACKSBURG – As a part of the all-new Twenty-4-You Fan Experience campaign, the athletics department has announced the creation of the Hokie Focus Group and is accepting applications from those who want to participate. The focus group, made up of fans, will assist the athletics department in the evaluation and enhancement of the overall fan experience at Virginia Tech home events.
The council will be made up of a diverse group of fans and will meet three times a year with administrators and staff. The goal of each meeting will be to allow the athletics department to listen to the feedback of the members as they express their ideas and suggestions.
All fans are eligible to submit an application and may do so by visiting: http://vthoki.es/Focus
Applications will be reviewed by members of the athletics department staff, with the goal of bringing together a diverse group of fans both in demographics and affiliation. The selected members of the focus group will be announced on July 31, with the first meeting scheduled for Aug. 15 prior to the second annual Fan Day. Members of the focus group will serve for one athletics year beginning in August of this year.
