BLACKSBURG – Throughout the 2014 season, the Virginia Tech Athletics Department has been encouraging fans to visit the website launched to commemorate the 50 seasons of Lane Stadium (http://www.hokiesports.com/football/lane50/) and to vote for their favorite players for the All-Lane Stadium Football Team.
The voting concluded Nov. 23, and more than 16,000 votes were cast. The team was announced during the first half of the Hokies’ regular-season finale against rival Virginia on Friday night.
