A Talk With...
What are your goals for your senior season?
I want to come out and help this team as much as possible by being a leader and helping young guys and getting team unity and then going on the field and giving my all.

What's been the most memorable game you've had at Virginia Tech?
The Miami game last year. I went through a tough season, first of all, and I came back healthy and I had a good game. We ended up beating them and winning the ACC Championship.

What motivates to perform at such a high level?
My motivation comes from a passion for the game and this team. We all count on each other in the field and I've got a part to fill, and I just want to give my all on the field.

What are you going to miss the most about this program when you graduate?
The people. This is a group of guys that are all different, but we all come together and it's a good feeling. It's something I've never had before and something I might never have again. Even if I go on to the next level, there won't be anything like this.

What's the best part about being a tailback?
A good part is we get a lot of glory. Also, we work hard, but we don't work as hard as a lot of other people in practice, that's a good part.

If you didn't play tailback, what would you play?
I would like to play defense. I would be an outside linebacker. I used to love defense.

How do you want to be remembered as you leave Virginia Tech?
I want to be remembered for my hard work, for my ability to come back. I think the main thing is about the injury. I fought through it and some guys would never be the same after that injury, but I came back to my old self.

What do you see as your role in the corps of running backs this season?
I just want to be a leader. I want to teach the younger ones, by not making mistakes and showing them on the field by playing my hardest and letting them know that when they are out on the field that they need to play their hardest. And then to do whatever it takes to help this team out.
