2003: Entered school in January 2004 ... Went through the winter strength and conditioning program ... Caught a 20-yard touchdown pass during Tech's third scrimmage of the spring ... Led the receivers with three catches for 45 yards in the final scrimmage ... Pulled in a 6-yard pass during the Maroon-White game and ran for a 6-yard gain on a reverse ... Underwent surgery for a fractured left foot in May ...

Prep School: Spent the fall semester at Fork Union Military Academy ... Caught 33 passes for 845 yards and eight touchdowns for Coach John Shuman at FUMA ... Blocked four punts and also contributed a punt return for a touchdown ...

High School: Played quarterback, wide receiver and cornerback while playing for Coach Greg Fuller at H.D. Woodson High ... Had eight catches for 275 yards and three touchdowns in a game against Glen Mills High (Pa.) his senior season ... Also contributed four sacks and blocked a punt ... Was named all-DCIAA East as a receiver ... Passed for 987 yards and rushed for 898 his junior year ... Finished with five TDs passing and eight rushing ... Was named the MVP of two tournaments while playing on the basketball team ...
