Here’s a look at how former Virginia Tech players did this week in their respective NFL games. Tech has 18 players on active 53-man rosters with two more players on practice squads and two more on the injured reserve.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: Michael Vick set NFL history in the Jets’ win, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to go over 6,000 career rushing yards … Jason Worilds had 1.5 sacks for Pittsburgh … Darryl Tapp had 1/2 a sack for the Lions in their win over Miami … Jarrett Boykin forced a fumble on a punt attempt for the Packers in their win.
