Here’s a look at how former Virginia Tech players did this week in their respective NFL games. Tech has 18 players on active 53-man rosters with two more players on practice squads and two more on the injured reserve.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: Rookie Logan Thomas made his NFL debut, subbing in for injured Drew Stanton. The signal caller completed just one pass, but it was an 81-yarder for a touchdown in the Cardinals’ loss at Denver, the second-longest completion for an NFL quarterback’s first career completion in league history … Brandon Flowers had another interception as the Cargers shutout the Jets … Jason Worilds had a sack and three QBH in the Steelers’ win.
