Here’s a look at how former Virginia Tech players did this week in their respective NFL games. Tech has 18 players on active 53-man rosters with two more players on practice squads and one more on the injured reserve.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK: After giving up a touchdown to allow the Redskins to take the late lead, rookie Jayron Hosley redeemed himself in a big way. The Giants took the lead back on a long touchdown pass, but left Washington time on the clock and trailing 27-23. With the Redskins trying to go down the field to win it, Hosley pounced on a loose ball for the fumble recovery to preserve the win. Ironically, he was tackled on the play by fellow Hokie Joshua Morgan.
