Tech football welcomes three January enrollees
The Notebook
The Virginia Tech football program will welcome three new members to its program when it re-convenes Tuesday for a team meeting to begin preparing for the 2011 season. Those three players are two previous signees: defensive end Justin Taylor and offensive lineman Caleb Farris, along with recent high school graduate Adeboye Aromire.

Taylor and Farris both signed with Tech last February. Taylor spent last semester at Hargrave after previously attending South Stanly High in Norwood, N.C., where he was listed as the No. 30 defensive end in the country and the No. 16 player in the state of North Carolina by Rivals. Farris attended Rockbridge County High in Fairfield and spent the fall at a community college. He was listed as the No. 25 offensive guard in the country and the No. 14 player in the state by Rivals coming out of high school.

Aromire (pronounced atta-BOY-yay uh-ROH-muh-ray) played at H.D. Woodson High in Washington, D.C., and is a defensive back. He is listed as the No. 32 cornerback in the country and the No. 3 player in Washington, D.C. by Rivals. Because he is enrolling in January, Aromire does not have to sign a National Letter of Intent.
