WHY HE CHOSE TECH: “I just felt like Virginia Tech was a better fit for me, and it had everything that I was looking for that I saw in South Carolina [where he was previously committed], but it was about four hours closer, so I felt a really strong connection to Virginia Tech. After about two months after I committed to South Carolina, I realized maybe I had rushed things a little. Then I realized that Virginia Tech was where I wanted to go to.”
