WHY HE CHOSE TECH: “Virginia Tech has been my dream since I was in the fifth grade, since I was ready to go middle school. Virginia Tech was the school I actually wanted to go to, and then I went up to the camp [last June] and they offered me. Not even a week later, Coach Shane Beamer called me. I went and talked with my mom and decided to take the offer.”
