With the College World Series ending this week, college baseball fans should now turn their attention to the summer leagues. With almost 20 current Hokies playing ball this summer – mostly along the east coast – below is a one-stop resource to follow those players.
However, do not forget are those former Tech players who are continuing their careers as professionals, which is just over a dozen strong thanks to the two newest members – Tim Smalling, who is playing in the minors for the Colorado Rockies, and Joe Parsons, who is in the minors for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
If you click on the player’s name it will go to his Virginia Tech bio, but click on the “stats page” link to go to his specific bio page for his summer team (where available) to see his statistics, or click on the team or league link to find out more about those organizations.
