BLACKSBURG, Va. - Three members of the Virginia Tech men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete in the USA Swimming Open Water Nationals on Friday morning.
Michael Craddock, Jessica Hespeler and Michal Szuba will all compete. The events begin with the women’s race at 8 a.m. and the men's race at 10:30 a.m.
The 2016 10K Open Water National Championships will serve as a selection event for the USA Swimming Open Water National Team, National Junior Team, and FINA Open Water World Junior Championships Team. The 2016 5K Open Water National Championships will serve as an additional selection event for the FINA Open Water World Junior Championships Team.
