COMMUNITY OUTREACH

With the university motto, Ut Prosim, (That I May Serve) at our core, the Office of Student-Athlete Development assists student-athletes in taking advantage of the many opportunities to volunteer throughout their college experience. Teams partner with national and local community organizations and volunteer their time at community-wide events. Involvement in these initiatives helps maintain and improve the positive relationship between student-athletes and the surrounding community. Reading to elementary school students, visiting children's hospitals and assisting with local food drives are just a few of the many ways Virginia Tech student-athletes give back.

Would you like to request a visit by a Hokie student-athlete or VT athletic team to your school or civic activity? Just click the following link Promotional Activity Request Form

Please remember - Requests will only be accepted September 15th - April 15th and must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the date of your event. In an effort to respect the time constraints placed on our student-athletes, requests will be limited to two (2) per month and will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. Please be mindful of this when submitting your request. As a reminder, there are NCAA guidelines to which we must adhere. The Virginia Tech Athletics departmental policy limits participation in events located more than 30 miles from Blacksburg. Submitting a request does not guarantee that the request will be fulfilled.
