Women’s Tennis
Feb. 17 | Blacksburg, Va.
11 a.m. - Liberty
4 p.m. - Radford

Tech looks to continue a four-match winning streak as they host Liberty and Radford on Saturday at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center. The Hokies are 4-0 all-time against Liberty and 26-4 all-time versus Radford. [Full Preview]

Lacrosse
Feb. 17 | Blacksburg, Va.
3 p.m. – Old Dominion

The Hokies return home after dropping a game to No. 8 James Madison on the road. Tristan McGinley is coming off a four-goal outing at JMU, marking the sixth time in her career she’s scored four times. Kristen Gaudian added another six goals for Tech, a new career high. Tech will host Old Dominion on Saturday in the Indoor Practice Facility. The Hokies are 8-3 all-time against Old Dominion. [Full Preview]

Women’s Basketball

The Hokies look to complete their regular season at home with a win over Clemson. The two teams will face each other in Cassell Coliseum at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Guard Taylor Emery was named ACC Player of the Week following last Sunday’s matchup against Virginia. The junior finished with 32 points, setting a new Cassell record. Sunday is Senior Day for the Hokies, who will honor senior Diandra DaRosa.

*Promo – This game is the annual Play4Kay PINK game. Fans are encouraged to come out and wear pink to support the cause. It is also the Corps of Cadets appreciation game.

AWAY EVENTS
Track & Field

Feb. 15 | 4 p.m.

Roanoke Tune-Up (Roanoke, Va.)

With it being one week out from the ACC Indoor Championships, the nationally ranked Virginia Tech track and field teams will head north on Highway 81 to compete at the Roanoke Tune-up on Friday. Roanoke College, a Division III school in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), will play host to 11 schools. The one-day meet will begin at 4 p.m. ET, and is a rolling schedule. Tech will be traveling its distance, sprints/hurdles and jumps/multi-events groups. The last time out, Tech split up and went to three meets. Redshirt sophomore Peter Seufer earned his first event title of the season, claiming the 5,000-meter race at the Music City Challenge on Friday, while on Saturday, redshirt senior Patrick Joseph (800 meters) and junior Rachel Pocratsky (mile) earned event crowns in Nashville as well. The women are ranked No. 22 and the men are No. 24 in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Top 25 Computer Rankings. [Full Preview]

The Hokies women’s swimming team traveled to Greensboro, N.C. to participate in the ACC Championships, which started Wednesday. Tech set a new program record in the 200-meter relay on opening day, recording a time of 1:36.35 to finish second. The championship will conclude on Saturday. [Full Preview]

Feb. 17 | 12 p.m. – Purdue

Feb. 18 | 10 a.m. – Penn State

The Virginia Tech Softball team will head to Durham, N.C. to take on Purdue and Penn State this weekend. Tech will face both opponents twice, starting with Purdue on Friday, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday and culminating in a final matchup against Penn State on Sunday. The Hokies are 0-1 all-time against Purdue and 1-3 against Penn State. Caroline Schoenewald is coming off a five-hit game in the loss to Lamar last weekend. She is only the fourth Virginia Tech player to have five hits in a game. [Full Preview]

The Hokies kickoff their season in Myrtle Beach, S.C. as they take on Coastal Carolina, No. 17 South Alabama and Oklahoma over the weekend. They will play through Monday, taking on Kansas State before they had back to Blacksburg. Sam Fragale heads into the season with two preseason honors. He was tabbed a third teamer by Collegiate Baseball and selected to the third team in the 18^th annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers preseason All-America squad. [Full Preview]

No. 8 Virginia Tech will head to Raleigh to face ACC foe No. 6 NC State on Friday night. The Hokies are coming off a win at Virginia despite missing two starters from the lineup due to illness. Tech looks to extend their ACC dual meet win streak to 20. Friday’s meet has the potential for five ranked bouts with Tech’s No. 18 Dennis Gustafson facing No. 13 Tariq Wilson at 133; No. 16 Ryan Blees vs. No. 13 Beau Donahue at 149; No. 8 Zack Zavatsky vs. No. 3 Pete Renda at 184; No. 2 Jared Haught vs. No. 7 Mike Macchiavello at 197; No. 18 Andrew Dunn vs. No. 19 Michael Boykin at 285. Men’s Basketball

Virginia Tech’s men’s basketball team will head back out on the road as they travel south to face ACC opponent Georgia Tech in Atlanta on Saturday at noon. Tech looks to get back on track following a loss to Duke on Wednesday in Durham. Senior guard Justin Bibbs recorded a team-high 15 points, his fifth time this season scoring a team-high. P.J. Horne closed the game with the final six points for the Hokies. It was his second-most points scored in an ACC game. Tech is 17-6 all-time against Georgia Tech and 6-3 all-time when playing in Atlanta. [Full Preview]

Tech kicks off the spring season by heading to San Juan, Puerto Rico to participate in the Puerto Rico Classic-Rio Mar CC. The Hokies look to build momentum following the signing of the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked Virginia players to the Fall 2018 squad.
