2018 outdoor: Competed in the 10,000- and 5,000-meter races at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds, recording times of 30:30.62 and 14:21.59 ... Won a gold medal in the 10,000 meters with a time of 29:58.61 at the ACC Outdoor Championships for the second year in a row, earning first-team All-ACC honors ... Also placed fifth in the 5,000 meters at ACCs with a time of 14:04.62, earning second-team All-ACC honors ... Qualified for his first-ever NCAA Championship appearance in the 5,000 with a time of 14:18.58 set at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds ... Ran the 10,000 for the first time in his career at the ACC Championships, capturing gold with a time of 29:21.49 to earn first-team All-ACC honors ... Also competed in the 5,000 at the league championships, placing fourth with a time of 14:04.26 to earn second-team all-league honors ... Placed first in the 5,000 at the Hokie Twilight meet, finishing in 14:29.55 ...
