BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech men’s and women’s cross country teams will host the Hokie Open at the Buford Meredith Cross Country Course on Friday evening.

Last time out, both the Hokie men and women finished in sixth place at the ACC Cross Country Championships. Sarah Rapp and Paige Kvartunas were the two Hokie competitors to finish with All-ACC honors for finishing in sixth and eighth places in the women’s 6K race, respectively. Stuart Robertson was the top finisher for the men in 22nd place, just one-place away from earning All-ACC honors.

The Hokie Open men’s 6K race will begin at 4:30 p.m. while the women’s 4K race will begin at 5:10 p.m.
