2017: Made 16 starts during the season including 10 of the last 11 games of the season, all at catcher, and played in 25 total games … Made collegiate debut off the bench against Marshall (Feb. 19) and started his first game at Nevada (Feb. 24) … Batted .137 with seven hits, including two doubles and a triple for 11 total bases and a .216 slugging percentage … Scored four runs and added two RBI … Drew four walks to post a .200 on-base percentage … Also added two sacrifice bunts … Notched one game-winning RBI.
High School: Earned two varsity letters while playing for coach Billy Nicholson at Johns Creek … Was the 2016 Region 6A Scholar-Athlete of the Year, while also picking up the region’s Defensive Player of the Year award in back-to-back seasons (2015 & 2016) … Was a two-time First Team All-Region catcher and earned two Georgia Gold Gloves … As a senior, was a second team all-state selection … Also played football, earning four varsity letters at two schools … Rushed for 950 yards his senior season at Johns Creek and was twice selected as the Georgia High School football player of the week.
