Before Tech: Spent the 2016-17 seasons at St. John's River State College and one season at NC State (2015) ... At SJRSC, was a two-time Mid-Florida All-Conference selection as a shortstop and earned a spot on the Florida JUCO State All-Tournament Team in 2016 ... In his first season, played in 55 games, and finished third on the team in batting with a .350 average and was second in on-base percentage (.476) and had a .404 slugging percentage ... Was third on the team with 51 runs scored and 64 hits, including four doubles and a home run, and added 27 walks and 17 hit by pitches ... Knocked in 25 RBI, stole seven bases and struck out just 21 times in 183 at-bats, the fewest on the team of players with at least 65 ABs ...
