QUOTING CHUGGER ADAIR
“I was happy that we were able to come back after being down 1-0. I was happy we were able to come back and tie the game. I thought we deserved more at times. We were a bit unlucky not to be able to put the game away a little bit earlier. Unfortunately, when it goes to overtime, it’s a game that can go either way.”
“Pepperdine was a good, organized team that was a good challenge for us early in the year. It was one of the games that I wish we could have put away to win it. I’m proud of the girls to come back. It’s a good character trait to earn the tie.”
“We’re looking forward to regrouping, heading home and getting ready for next week.”
