QUOTING CHUGGER ADAIR

“One of our goals was to get a shutout. It was our first goal to defend well and not be sloppy in defending. To improve some of our defending from last year and I thought, for the most part, we did a pretty good job. They scored in the final seconds on a corner that we didn’t clear and was a great learning experience for us.”

“As far as what we have been doing for five training days, I think we looked solid. We looked better than I thought we would at this stage. I thought we did a good job moving the ball and made some really good combination plays.”

“We have to be sharper in the final third, better decision-making, some final pass and goal-scoring passes. Those will come, but I thought we controlled much of the game.”
