Virginia Tech will host its third of four home games this calendar week, as they host in-state foe Longwood at Thompson Field on Wednesday night. The match kicks off at 7 p.m. and will be streamed live on HokiesXtra.

With the change in goal credited to Murielle Tiernan, she now has 29 career goals for the Hokies ... That ties her with Emily Jukich for first in career goals at Virginia Tech ... She also has 69 career points, which ties her with former teammate Jazmine Reeves for second place in career points at Virginia Tech ... She is just six points shy of former teammate Kelly Conheeney’s school-record 75 career points ... Her two goals in the season-opening win over Indiana gave her the career lead in multi-goal games at Virginia Tech, with six.
