BLACKSBURG - The Hokies have learned their fate for the first part of postseason competition, heading to Michigan to take on the ninth-ranked Wolverines in the 2016 National Duals Championship Series.
Tech's 19-14 victory over then-No. 3 NC State on Friday clinched back-to-back ACC Dual Meet titles for the Hokies, who defeated Duke on Sunday for consecutive undefeated ACC seasons.
Hokie fans will be treated to several great matchups when the team heads to Ann Arbor on Sunday, including a rematch of third-ranked Ty Walz and No. 4 Adam Coon. The two previously faced off earlier this year at the NWCA All-Star Classic, with Walz coming away with a 9-3 victory, and at the 2014 Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, where Walz won a 5-3 overtime victory.
