BLACKSBURG, Va. – Tickets for the upcoming Virginia Tech wrestling matches will go on sale on Monday at 10 a.m., as announced by the athletic department.
The Hokies will return to the Moss Arts Center after hosting three matches in the venue in 2014-15. The team will face the University of Northern Iowa on January 15th (7 p.m.), with tickets available for purchase here, and ACC foe North Carolina on the 16th (7 p.m.), with tickets found here. Tickets will be $10 each if purchased previous to the event and any remaining tickets will be available on site for $15. A limited number of tickets will be held for students and a lottery system will allocate tickets to those who sign up.
Box sales will also open on Monday, with 11 available to purchase for one or both matches. Pricing begins at $100 and will increase based on the number tickets and events the box is reserved for.
Tech holds a 3-0 record in the new arts center, a beautiful fixture on campus where the Hokies have fused the ancient art of wrestling with the modern feel of the building.
The Hokies currently sit at 1-1, with a 32-3 win over then-no. 13 Iowa State on opening weekend and a loss to second-ranked Penn State on Sunday, 21-15. Tech is entering the road portion of their schedule, heading to the Dakotas this weekend to take on South Dakota State and North Dakota State, before ending 2015 at the Las Vegas Invitational.
