BOONE, N.C. - Seven Virginia Tech wrestlers placed in the top three of the Appalachian State Open Saturday with four of them taking titles. Dennis Gustafson (141), Zack Zavatsky (184), David Reck (197) and Dan Garwood (heavyweight) all went undefeated to rise to the top of the podium. Solomon Chishko (149) placed second, David Bergida (165) took third and Brandon Taylor (heavyweight) also placed third.
