CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Virginia Tech wrestling team began its journey Saturday morning for the program’s first ACC crown as it participates in the ACC Wrestling Championships inside John Paul Jones Arena and after four sessions, the Hokies have a lot of work to do in the finals to claim that title. The Hokies and Terps each have six in the finals while UVa has four.

Heading into the final session, Tech sits in second place with 72.0 points behind Maryland, which leads with 79.5 points. Virginia sits third with 69.0 points. Tech has three matchups with Maryland in the finals, two with Virginia and one with North Carolina.
