Virginia Tech wrestlers Jarrod Garnett and Tommy Spellman both placed at their respective tournament by finishing strong Wednesday. The two were a pair of several Hokies who competed at the Midlands Championships in Evanston, Ill., and at the Southern Scuffle in Greensboro, N.C.

Below are the final results from the Midlands, where Garnett placed sixth at 125 pounds.

At the Scuffle, Spellman took fourth place at 184 pounds to highlight the Hokies’ action in North Carolina.
