BLACKSBURG – Due to icy road conditions on I-81, VMI could not make it to Blacksburg for Sunday’s wrestling matches at Virginia Tech, thus altering the schedule. The 1 o’clock and 5 o’clock matches featuring the Keydets have been canceled.
The Hokies (11-0) and Rutgers (17-4) will still square off at 3 p.m., in a big regional matchup. The Scarlet Knights downed Virginia and UNC Greensboro Saturday in Charlottesville.
VMI was scheduled to wrestle Rutgers at 1 and Tech at 5, but those matches have been scratched and will not be made up.
The match can be purchased for viewing on ACC Select and live stats will be available for free. Admission is free.
