2012-13: An NCAA qualifier who went 17-11 … ACC Champion … 2013 All-ACC … Sealed Tech's first ACC title with a major decision in final match of the ACC Championships … Went 10-7 in dual meets, 5-0 in ACC duals … Had three major decisions and a pin … Returned to the mat after a season-ending knee injury on Nov. 16 … Dropped a pair of close dual matches to ranked foes to begin the season … Beat Virginia's Derek Papagianopoulos, 7-1 in the dual meet and in the finals of the ACC Championships … Went 4-2 at the Midlands Championships … A member of the All-ACC Wrestling Academic Team.

2011-12: Won the heavyweight division at the Hokie Open … Was 5-0 on the season heading into a dual meet at Ohio State … Suffered a serious knee injury midway through the match and had to take an injury default … It was determined that it was a torn ACL of the left knee and he missed the rest of the season … Petitioned for a sixth year of eligibility.

2010-11: Earned a wildcard spot in the NCAA Championships after placing second at the ACC Tournament … Finished the season with a 20-10 overall record … Went 5-0 in ACC dual meets and 15-6 in all dual matches … Was the top seed at the ACC Championships, but lost in the first tiebreaker of the championship match … Placed second at the Hokie Open … Had four major decisions … Picked up 51 team points in dual matches … Named to the 2010-11 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2009-10: Took a redshirt year while wrestling unattached … Had shoulder surgery after three early tournaments, which sidelined him for all of 2010 … Went 7-5 in tournaments … Took sixth at the Kaufman-Brand Open … Also competed in the Hokie Open and the Michigan State Spartan Open.

2008-09: Qualified for his first NCAA Tournament by placing third at the ACC Tournament … Went 3-2 at the Big Dance, advancing to the Round of 12 and was one win away from All-America status … A second-team all-state selection at heavyweight as voted on by the state’s sports information directors … Went 31-15 overall, including 15-5 in dual matches … Posted four major decisions, two technical falls and four pins … Took fourth at the Navy Classic and sixth at the Southern Scuffle … Went 3-1 in ACC matches.

2007-08: One of the bigger surprises of the season … Was slated to be a 197-pounder but was thrust into the starting lineup at heavyweight early on … Ended up going 18-11 despite being outweighed significantly in most matches … Took second place at the ACC Championships in that weight class … Went 9-5 in dual meets and 3-2 in the conference … Picked up two major decisions, one technical fall and a pin … Had a big win in Tech’s 18-16 upset of Virginia, beating Jack Danilkowicz, 3-1, in sudden victory.

High School: Lettered four times for Coach Travis Masse at Broomfield High … A two-time Colorado state champion … Also placed second and fourth in the state … Placed second and third in the Walsh Ironman Tournament … An honorable mention All-American … Also lettered three times in football … A two-time all-state selection, earning first-team honors once.
