BLACKSBURG -The Virginia Tech women's basketball team travels down Tobacco Road for a Wednesday night matchup against the North Carolina Tar Heels. Tip is slated for 7 p.m.

Last time out the Hokies earned the school’s first ever win on the hardwood inside the Carrier Dome, defeating Syracuse 73-64. Taylor Emery led the team with her 11^th game of 20 points and Regan Magarity recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
