The Hokies held at least a 20-point lead throughout much of the second half. MSM cut it down to 18 coming out of the break, but Tech again extended its advantage going up 53-27 to take its largest lead of the game off a 3-pointer from Young to open the fourth. The Mountaineers held the scoring advantage in the final period 15-9, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Hokies.

At the end of the first quarter, the Highlanders trailed by just one point to the Terriers. Wofford used a 26-20 scoring advantage in the second frame to put some distance between the teams, taking a 40-33 lead into the break. Radford was unable to overcome the difference in the second half as the Terriers again held the advantage in the third.

Foy leads the Highlanders with 14.1 points per game. White is adding 12.1 ppg and pulling down 8.1 rebounds per game. Jayda Worthy is tallying 9.8 points and 7.4 rpg.
