GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Virginia Tech volleyball team will make one television appearance this season as its game at Miami on Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. will be televised on RSN.
Atlantic Coast Conference Commissioner John Swofford announced the league’s TV slate on Wednesday morning, as nine matches will air during the course of the 2011 season. The television schedule will feature volleyball matches on eight different campuses and include 10 of the conference’s 12 teams.
The Hokies begin their season on Aug. 26, hosting their first of three tournaments before diving into conference play. Tech will take on Cleveland State at 7 p.m. in its home opener, while also facing High Point and Indiana by weekend’s end.
