Day Seven: A couple surprises
Preseason Camp 2012 Blog

Hello!

Our day started at 8 a.m. with our first session. We worked on attacking, serve receive and out of system balls. Nothing too exciting, but we did meet a new friend in the gym today… a MOUSE. Not everybody saw it, but we were screaming and trying to chase him out of our practice. So scary.

Lunch was provided by Panera. Our lovely nutritionist made us fresh smoothies. Most of the team got seconds. :-) Some of us also finished up our team bonding timelines during our break.

We proceeded with our second session after some work with Freddy. This session was focused on competition rather than technique drills. We got to play three games +/- to 10 points. Any error is a negative point and you can only score points by earning them. The second session always goes by the quickest.

After dinner Chris surprised us with a trip to our favorite frozen yogurt place, Frosty Parrot! For those of you who don’t know our team we love desserts, so this was an awesome way to top off our seventh day of preseason.

Have to go to bed soon, weights in the early morning!

Goodnight all,

Jen and Cara
