Peters named ACC Diver of the Week

The Texan earns her second ACC weekly honor of the season

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore diver Ashlynn Peters has been named ACC Diver of the Week for the second time this season after a stellar weekend against No. 4 Virginia, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Peters earned 13 points for the H₂Okies and narrowly missed sweeping the diving events. Peters recorded a personal best and first-place finish in the three-meter with a score a 349.27. Her score of 311.48 in the one-meter was a season-high. The honor is her second of the year and the third of her career.

The H₂Okies return to action this weekend with a senior and parents weekend tri-meet with Cincinnati and Rutgers on Friday, Jan. 20, and Saturday, Jan. 21.
