KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Virginia Tech swimming and diving teams will be competing at the Tennessee Fall Invitational this weekend.
The invitational will feature swimming and diving teams from the University of Tennessee, the University of Missouri, West Virginia University and the diving teams from the University of Massachusetts.
The meet will begin on Friday and will conclude on Sunday. The swimmers will have a unique opportunity and be able to record Olympic trial cuts in addition to NCAA meet qualifiers. The morning preliminary sessions will be using the Olympic standard long course meters.
The No. 22 men’s team is undefeated on the season so far (7-0, 2-0) and, along with the women’s team, has already knocked off West Virginia in a dual meet earlier this season in Morgantown, W. Va. The women boast a 7-1 record with their only loss coming at Penn State to open the season.
