GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia Tech senior diver Kaylea Arnett was named the ACC Female Diver of the Week on Tuesday following her impressive outing at the UGA Fall Invitational, where she won two events and took second in another against some of the top competition in the country.
Arnett won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 294.55 and won the platform event with a score of 288.85. She finished second in the 3-meter event after earning a mark of 331.65. The reigning ACC Female Diver of the Year has now won eight diving event after only six meets this season.
The three-time ACC Women’s Diver of the Year has won the ACC Diver of the Week award six times prior to this week’s honor, and this is her second award this season.
