• The Virginia Tech swimming and diving team traveled down I-81 to in-state rival Virginia when it hosted the H2Okies and Wisconsin on Friday, Jan. 25. The Tech men came on top of Wisconsin, 204-155, but fell to the then-No. 11 Cavaliers. The women fell to both squads.

• The H2Okies finished the dual season with the men 9-2-1 on the season and 3-2-1 in the conference. The women completed the dual season with a 14th-straight winning record, 9-6.

The sophomore was named the ACC Female Diver of the Week for the fourth time this season for her performance.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS

• Towson enters this weekend with a 10-2, 6-0 CAA women’s dual record. The women have only dropped meets to Penn State and Notre Dame. The men have a 3-8 dual season record and have not won a CAA meet.

• Kaitlin Burke leads the Tiger women as she has brought in four CAA weekly honors this season and is the 2012 CAA Champion in the 500 and 1650 freestyles. Freshman Matt McKenney leads a young Towson men’s squad as he holds school freshman records in the 50 and 100 freestyles.
