Arnett named ACC Female Diver of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore Kaylea Arnett of the Virginia Tech swimming and diving program has been named the ACC Female Diver of the Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office. This is the fourth weekly honor for Arnett this season, which is the most in the conference among the female divers.

Arnett went undefeated this past weekend in the last dual meet of the season for Virginia Tech. Diving against Wisconsin and 10th-ranked Virginia, the native of Spring, Texas, set a facility record with a 355.95 on the 3-meter and posted a 296.95 to complete the sweep of the springboard events.

Virginia’s Jan Daniec and Caroline Kenney were named the ACC Male and Female Swimmers of the Week, while Duke junior Nick McCrory earned the Male Diver of the Week.
