GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore Kaylea Arnett of the Virginia Tech swimming and diving program has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Female Diver of the Week for the second-straight week, announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Arnett led the H2Okie women to a tri-meet win over Georgia Tech and Florida Gulf Coast. The Spring, Texas, native swept the springboard diving events, earning a 306.55 on the 1-meter and 326.05 on 3-meter, both NCAA Zone qualifiers. Arnett is undefeated on the 3-meter this season and has been named the ACC Female Diver of the Week twice this year.
Georgia Tech’s Brandon Makinson was named the ACC Male Diver of the Week, while the Virginia senior Lauren Perdue and Florida State sophomore Conner Knight were recognized as the Female and Male Swimmers of the Week.
