Kline brings home silver at the AT&T National Diving Championships
Tech diving squad finishes third overall

GREENSBORO, N.C. – After six days of competition, senior Logan Kline of the Virginia Tech diving team brought home the silver medal in the women’s synchronized 3-meter event with former Indian teammate, Gabriella Agostino, at the AT&T National Diving Championships this past weekend. The H2Okies finished the competition third overall.

After finishing with a score of 252.60 in the quarterfinals, Kline and Agostino tallied a score of 291.30 in the finals to place second. Kline’s silver was the highest placing for Tech.

On the men’s side, Logan Shinholser and Ryan Hawkins teamed up for the synchronized 3-meter. The duo finished fourth with a score of 360.75.

Shinholser and Hawkins also competed individually in the platform event. Shinholser placed eighth with a score of 347.90, while Hawkins took a score of 334.25 to finish 11th. In addition to his eighth-place finish, Shinholser posted a score of 404.65 in the 3-meter event and placed 11th.

Kelli Stockton posted individual scores on the women’s side. The sophomore recorded 11th and 12th-place finishes in the 3-meter and platform events, respectively.
